22nd Annual Ron Williams Memorial Poker Run JULY
9th 2011 Saturday this year!!!
The Ron Williams Memorial Poker Run is held each year in memory of a Rutland lawyer who passed away from
injuries resulting from a motorcycle crash.
The proceeds of the ride are split between Ron's two favorite charities;
The Special Olympics of Vermont and Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences (VINS).

Special Olympics Vermont is incorporated as a Vermont non-profit corporation [501(c)(3)] and is accredited
every two years by Special Olympics, Inc. Through successful completion of this accreditation process, Special Olympics Vermont
is officially recognized and agrees to abide by a set of general rules established by Special Olympics, Inc. In other words,
we get to call ourselves Special Olympics, use the Special Olympics brand to recruit and raise funds, organize state tournaments,
and participate at National and World Games competitions.
Special Olympics Vermont is a volunteer managed collection
of community and school based teams from throughout Vermont with the sole purpose of providing sports training and athletic
competition to persons with intellectual disabilities, ultimately changing their lives and lives and attitudes of hundreds
for volunteers.

The Vermont Institute of Natural Science Entices and Excites People to Care for the Natural World
VINS’ programs and services engage and instill in people of all backgrounds a desire to care for the wildlife
and diverse natural habitats they encounter in their daily lives.
We offer relevant environmental education programs
for adults, families, and school children; partner with leading conservation organizations to promote environmental science
field research; and operate New England’s premier avian wildlife rehabilitation clinic at the VINS Nature Center.
VINS has been a leader in environmental education and wildlife conservation and care since 1972. We are known nationally
for innovative natural science curricula and education programs for learners of all ages.
